TCO Development promotes third party certification programs at Global Ecolabelling Network annual meeting

On November 5-9, leading third party eco-label and certification programs from around the world will convene in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the annual meeting of GEN – the Global Ecolabelling Network. GEN is a collaboration of international environmental and sustainability programs that are classified as ISO Type 1 Environmental Certifications – meaning that each program implements third party testing and verification of everything they certify.

TCO Development supports GEN in its efforts to advance sustainable development and promote the importance of third party verification in a world where unsubstantiated environmental and sustainability product claims can mislead buyers. We will continue to work with GEN to communicate the value of third party verification in proving product compliance and affecting real change in Sustainable IT.
